Welcome to the final installment of our EduWeek Sustainable Development Blog series.
We support Global Goal #17: Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development
Over the past 17 weeks leading up to EduWeek 2017, we have travelled through the series of sustainable development goals. We have discussed not only the importance of the goals, but how they fit into our society to create a better life for all and the world we live in.
More importantly we realized how education can be utilized to achieve these goals. More importantly, we need to work together to reach a desirable outcome in 2030.
We need to realize that everyone has a part to play in making these goals a reality. This forms the basis of this goal. We need to stand accountable and take up the development of our global society into our own hands.
We all share these goals. It’s not optional, it is imperative that we work together to achieve them. This we can do with global partnerships. We’re all benefitting from the potential development of a world greater than what we’re currently living in.
We need to come together to advance our education infrastructure to ensure a sustainable world.
