The genesis of this pioneering event sets to change the face of how we develop education on the African continent, to focus its trajectory towards supporting a sustainable future. Africa and its people are dutifully invested in its education and advancing the sector to bring us on par with best practice. We understand that education feeds into several other mechanisms that drive our economies and communities. We embrace the notion of cultivating education to harvest opportunities for our future leaders; who will one day take the reins and face future challenges head on, equipped with the global competencies we foster now.
Here at EduWeek, we believe that education is one of the most powerful tools to affect the change we want to see in our environments, communities, cities and countries. We have worked diligently to translate the current state of our education system and will reflect this in the product we have produced to ensure an engaging summit, tackling relatable issues and spurring discussions around the pivotal points we need to address to transform education as we know it.
We wish to facilitate this shift in the business of education, by structuring the summit to provide like-minded key stakeholders with the leeway to build partnerships and incubate trade relations based on outcomes based discussions. The summit is a niche, closed meeting based on the Chatham house rules. Our platform provides a solid foundation to form bridges between key stakeholders and those providing practical solutions. We will build on these partnerships and connect suppliers, distributors, resellers and buyers with the buy-in from the African market.
